Free for organizers

Why Expo Manager is free for organizers

Most event platforms charge you a SaaS fee, then a per-ticket fee on top. We don't. You keep 100% of every ticket. Our 5% platform fee is paid from the booking fee, and only when you sell.

The problem

Two fees, two ways to bleed

Traditional event platforms charge organizers a monthly subscription for the software, then add a per-ticket fee to every sale. On a 5,000-ticket expo, the two combined can eat five figures before you count card processing. That model was built for the platform, not the event.

How our model works

Gateway, platform fee, card fees at cost

Your gateway, your money

Connect Stripe, Square or PayPal. Ticket revenue lands in your account directly, never in ours.

5% platform fee, deducted automatically

Per transaction, no invoices, no minimum. If you don't sell, we don't earn.

Card fees stay at cost

You pay your gateway's standard processing rate directly. We add nothing on top.

Three ways to set your fee

You decide who covers the 5%

Pass it on

Charge a booking fee of 5%. Attendees see it itemized at checkout, exactly what buyers expect.

Absorb it

Set no booking fee and price it into the ticket. Attendees see one clean price.

Mark it up

Set a booking fee higher than 5%, say 10%, and keep the difference as pure margin.

Worked examples

At a 10% booking fee on a $40 ticket

Event sizeBooking fees collectedPlatform fee (5%)You keep
500 tickets$2,000.00$1,000.00$1,000.00
5,000 tickets$20,000.00$10,000.00$10,000.00
20,000 tickets$80,000.00$40,000.00$40,000.00

Card processing fees are separate and paid directly to your gateway at their standard rate.
